Job Summary - Senior Performance Strategist, Paid Media - Enterprise Dealer Groups (Hybrid)

The Performance Strategist, Paid Media will manage, analyze, and update automotive-related paid search, social, and programmatic marketing campaigns utilizing Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, DV360, Amazon and PureCars’ technology to drive revenue for Asbury Automotive Group. This position is a hybrid role and is intended to be in office 1-2 times a week at the Asbury corporate office in Duluth, GA (location will change to Sandy Springs around April 2025). This individual will directly interface with the client’s marketing leadership to ensure strategic ad optimization initiatives are met, manage campaigns across platforms, and regularly report on campaign efficacy and insights. What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate across paid media teams and work with Asbury Automotive Group’s marketing team to help manage their paid advertising strategies via paid search, social, and programmatic platforms
  • Enhance Asbury’s digital advertising strategy and execution based on individual dealership, OEM, and marketing team objectives and continually identify opportunities to make measurable improvements via ad copy, bid management, budget adjustments, A/B testing, and performance analysis
  • Be comfortable and confident working with General Managers, Asbury’s marketing staff, being the liaison between PureCars and the client, and interfacing with executives both internally and externally
  • Work directly with the client’s marketing staff to execute budget changes, ongoing projects, and additional paid advertising requests
  • Address and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner to maintain and strengthen customer trust
  • Be consistently available on/off hours to client’s marketing staff to troubleshoot problems with a sense of urgency  as needed
  • Assist with any miscellaneous requests or projects that may arise
  • Be part of a like-minded, motivated, and data driven team

The Skills and Experience You Bring:

  • Minimum of two years experience with paid media campaign management
  • We want someone who is driven, proactive and innovative to help us delight customers
  • Skilled in client performance data analysis and in providing actionable and impactful insights to clients with a focus on optimizing revenue generation
  • Strong relationship management skills and confidence when talking to key decision makers (both internal and external) regarding performance, strategy, and insights/recommendations
  • Detail oriented with the strong ability to precisely manipulate large, multi-faceted data sets. V-look-ups skills are a major plus
  • Ability to learn and adapt in a rapidly-changing environment
  • Google Ads Search Certified
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred
