Job Summary - Director of Client Experience, Enterprise (Houston, TX)

PureCars is seeking a Director of Client Experience, Enterprise Groups to join us as our team, technology, and client base continues to grow. This individual will report to the Sr. Director of Client Experience, Enterprise Accounts and will be responsible for leading a team of Digital Strategy Managers as our client base continues to grow. The mission for this individual will be to continue to build and expand our relationships with the largest enterprise level automotive client, [client name redacted for NDA purposes], in PureCars Tier 3 book of business. 

The Director will be accountable for monitoring the performance of the team, the processes used, making recommendations for efficiencies in the workflow and systems used as well as helping to grow and develop our talent. The Director will also be responsible for headcount planning for both in-house and out-sourced roles to best support the business. Candidates must live in Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, or Austin, TX or be willing to relocate within 6 months of hire date.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the success and professional growth of a team of Digital Account Managers who are responsible for the relationship management, retention, and growth of the largest enterprise level automotive client, [client name redacted for NDA purposes], in PureCars Tier 3 book of business.  
  • Oversee the daily and weekly activity of your direct reports as well as the digital marketing performance of each account within the representative’s account base to proactively identify opportunities for account expansion and/or risks of churn.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for all high-level or complex customer issues shared by your direct reports and effectively prescribe and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with our Director of Digital Media on the development and execution of sophisticated digital media strategies across all channels to PureCars’ Digital Advertising client base. 
  • Partner with PureCars Performance and Creative leadership teams to identify communication and process improvement opportunities leading to increased retention and the acquisition of additional rooftops.
  • Analyze individual, team, and account performance data with your direct reports on a consistent basis, share performance data with the Sr. Director of Client Experience, Enterprise Accounts and establish and manage go-forward action plans with your team.
  • Interface directly with clients, conduct and shadow on technical QBR calls, and present performance metrics of your total book of business to internal executives.
  • Develop, establish, and cultivate a platinum standard of excellence for account management, performance, and creative services teams via measurable KPIs

The Skills and Experience You Bring:

  • This role will require in-dealer and in-corporate. Candidates must live in the assigned territory or willing to relocate within 6 months of hire date.
  • Track record of success in managing an enterprise book of clients within a digital marketing/SaaS environment. Automotive tech experience is highly preferred. 
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate technical concepts around Search (paid and organic), Programmatic, and Social Media digital marketing technologies and best practices.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring other Account Managers, tracking direct report activity metrics, and identifying churn risks and growth opportunities within client accounts.
  • You have an understanding of the changing landscape of ad tech and data privacy.
  • Is an experienced leader and effective manager who appreciates the responsibility of taking ownership and accountability for the performance and development of the team
