Buying Lead, Traditional Media

General Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Automotive experience preferred, retail experience required
- Clear communicator
- Understanding of CPM, CPC, CTR, frequency, reach, and conversion metrics
- Experience with campaign pacing, budget optimization, and performance tracking
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship skills
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Time management and multitasking in deadline-driven environments
- Collaboration and communication across creative and media teams
Duties include:
- Management of traditional media process across cross-functional teams
- Execute media buys across digital, broadcast, print, and out-of-home channels
- Negotiate pricing, placement, and added-value opportunities with media vendors
- Manage advertising budgets and adjust pacing to stay on track
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize placements for better ROI
- Conduct audience research and maintain current knowledge of media trends
- Formulate cost-effective techniques that help brands get maximum impact with minimal prices
- Generate reports on KPIs, impressions, clicks, conversions, and costs
- Ensure ads are trafficked correctly and meet deadlines and specs
Leadership/Mgmt:
- Be involved in the entire campaign lifecycle, from the development and launch of the campaign, to tracking its success
- Collaborate with creative teams to plan, and execute the campaigns as per the plan
- Develop and foster relationships with vendors and media owners that are built on trust and honesty
- Stay on top of the latest trends and technologies in the media space
Salary Range: $135,000
Location: Remote, Houston preferred
