About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager with deep experience building sophisticated AI-driven products at scale.. You will guide the strategy, roadmap, and execution of products that incorporate AI agents, conversational AI, LLMs, and data models to solve meaningful problems for dealerships and their customers. You will be a subject matter expert in the area of AI across the whole organization.

You’ll work closely with engineering, data science, design, and commercial teams to define product requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure we deliver products that meet business goals while handling sensitive data responsibly.

What You’ll Do:

  • Transform product strategy into AI agent solutions that enhance dealership advertising performance, shopper engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Define clear, actionable product requirements — including PRDs, user stories, data requirements, and evaluation plans — working closely with engineering, building sophisticated LLM applications and retrieval systems.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features and products, from ideation and model evaluation through launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Design and refine conversational workflows, agent behaviors, and retrieval strategies to ensure accuracy, reliability, and business value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, GTM, customer success, and compliance to ensure successful delivery and rollout of AI capabilities.
  • Own prioritization and backlog management, balancing rapid experimentation with long-term platform architecture and scalability.
  • Work with sensitive CRM, PII, and dealership data safely and responsibly, ensuring compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
  • Monitor performance with clear KPIs (model quality, usage, conversions, operational uplift) and use insights to drive continuous product improvements.
  • Champion AI enablement within PureCars and with customers, helping teams and dealerships understand capabilities, limitations, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in data, advertising, SaaS, or related technical products.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping sophisticated AI-driven products to production, including LLM-based applications, conversational AI systems, or multi-agent platforms that operate at enterprise scale.
  • You should have strong fluency with modern AI systems, including an understanding of the capabilities and constraints of different LLM architectures, RAG/retrieval systems, embeddings, function calling, fine-tuning approaches, and agent orchestration frameworks, enabling you to make informed product decisions and effectively partner with engineering teams.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and data science to shape complex AI product requirements, define evaluation frameworks for AI systems, and drive reliable production deployments of LLM-based products.
  • Familiarity with CRM data and working with PII/consumer datasets, especially around governance, consent, and secure handling.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured, testable product direction, grounded in customer needs and business outcomes.
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance velocity, quality, risk, and long-term product strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and automotive partners.
